What is this piece on my Melex?
Newbie to the forum and to the whole golf cart world. I just purchased a mid 90's Melex 512E and saw this piece of metal hanging down. Can anyone explain what this is? It's obviously part of the shackle that holds the leaf springs together, but what is the pointy part sticking down? Looks almost like some sort of hitch or something.
