![]() Hey gang so I recently bought an 08 par car summit (vin-5fcls46ax81000176) for 500 bucks and fees from the gov planet auction. Yes I probably over paid.. anyways It had no batteries when I picked it up. So I Acquired (no out of pocket money spent!! Its a Cool story if interested) 8 new centennial 224AH 6v gel batteries. The batterys are hooked up In series to 48v. I have the big positive lead going to solenoid and negative lead going to negative terminal of sevcon (cables are factory marked). Question is where do the smaller wires go? Are they for 12 volt accessories? Are the wires that seem to go toward key switch 48v? This cart has been apart for a long time. I even found a post on here from back in 09 when previous owner was trouble shooting a possible bad sevcon controller. The controller doesn't seem to have been removed ever and the thread just died. Tech support being kind enough to weigh in. Anyways i would love to get this thing going. I did also find 1 popped and 1 missing fuse on harness under cart, below batteries. Gonna get new fuses and hopefully figure out how to hook the remaining wires up properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

![]() I have a 2007 Eagle.
I believe those wires just connect to the main positive. But I am not 100% sure. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

![]() Thanks for the reply. Is your cart a 48v with 8-6v batteries? I see the solenoid says 24v on it. Im wondering if the sevcon controller sends a 24v signal to the solenoid? Or how does that work?

![]() Columbia used a 24v solenoid across the line so one part on the shelf goes to a 24, 36 or 48v vehicle. And yes, the controller chops the voltage for that.

![]() Ok got it. So are the smaller positive wires in my pic all 48v? Am I right to assume the accessories like lights and turn signals are 12v? Still haven't quite figured where these remaining wires go. 2 small wires are broken off and one other wire us taped up. Dont want to burn anything up.. thanks for the help!

![]() Hey Tech Support I found an old link you posted for the newer Columbia manuals. Looks like I now have the Info I need now to get everything hooked up correctly. I was reading through dozens of old posts and found it. For some reason I am unable to use search bar?. Anyways thanks for the help, it's much appreciated.
