93 Club DS rebuild
Hello All
I have been asked to post pics of a 93 Club Car rebuild I done. Just so you know I have never worked on a golf cart or even owned one before deciding to do this project. I use to work on trucks and cars as a hobbies but my back and knee's can't handle that, so I decided to try carts. I received a lot of help from some guy's here and they taught me a lot. I bought a Alltrax pkg from Scotty B with carts unlimited that worked out great and Scotty was extremely helpful. Pretty much I ripped all stock electrical out except motor which is 36 Volt. I ran new wiring and cables with controller solenoid and reverse contactor w/ forward and reverse switch that was in The Alltrax Pkg. I replaced steering column, steering gear box, steering wheel and tie rods. I installed a Jakes 6" lift kit and put on some 23 X 11 X 13 SS rims and tires. I had to replace some angle for the battery racks due to deuteriation. I had to get a top. Found one in great shape off a 2019 Club Car and made custom back strut supports so it would mount to rear seat. New windshield, new fender flares, new dash, new deluxe LED light kit w/ horn, recently new diamond plate kick panel , rocker panels and mud flap which I haven't taken pics of. The paint job is close to original it had. I went to a 57 Bel Air blue new paint job I bought new trojans when I bought cart before thinking of ripping everything out so now I am going to replace the 36V to lithium 48V and will advise how that comes out. 1 more thing. I added a functioning disco ball just for a joke with my daughter. Actually it makes cart stand out and makes for some fun conversations Big shout out to Tom47 for all of his help |

You did a beautiful job on that cart Deleye! That is really a work of art that you must be very proud of!
I'm glad I could help in small ways. That is most of our goals here. To learn and to help if we can. You will be asked to help others do just what you have done. Very impressive, Deleye! |
