![]() Picked up used golf car with no batteries. We assume is had six volt batteries and was wonderig if we can convert it to use 12 volt deep cycle batteries. How would it be wired and can it be done? Has newer hitachi 36volt motor. Any input is appriciated.

![]() The reason i am asking is that i have 6 12v deep cycle marine batteries from a 1960's westinghouse electric golf cart that took a dump and wanted to save money on buying 6v batteries. What kind of ride time am i looking at with 3 12v's as opposed to however many 6v's it had?
