Actually no, because the terminal is filled you have to heat it to get the cable completely seated in the lug. But I'm going directly to the crimper while it's still hot so the solder is still soft. I'm comfortable with them. They looked real nice when I got them done. They are hex style crimpers...

So, you did the soldering yourself? It was a kit?

First things first... CONGRATS on 1000!!!!!

Yeah, the terminal lug comes with solder already in it. So before you heat it with a propane torch the cable will only go about halfway in. After 15-30 seconds with the torch on it the cable would seat clear in the lug as the solder would melt. They really worked pretty slick... I think they were like a buck each...

Well, I'm happy to report that I got all the cables done and installed.
The best part is the cart goes moves forward and reverse, lights work, horn works... SUCCESS!!!
Here are some pics of the job. The cables turned out really nice. I have $30 in the terminal ends, $45 for the cable (blue was a little more $$$$), so $75 for the total swap out.

I also got my kick panel installed...

Great Job HD

Love the smooth stainless steel rockers and kickplate !

I've been on the fence about the tread bright or the smooth look. After seeing yours, I'm convinced the smooth is the way for me.

It's llokin strong Bro
