Ignition runs on "open/closed" ground. If the car has a bad ground, the ignition will receive erroneous signals!!

and its a floating ground right so nothing should be grounded to the frame??

The reason why im asking is I just remembered that I made a ground buss bar for my electronics that is grounded to the frame. I may need to isolate that bar. That may be my issue.....

It may, you can also ground it to the ground lug on the end of the starter!! All my grounds start from there!!
