07 ds moves only in reverse
hello guys have a 2007 club car 48 volt ds it will only go in reverse what yall think help

i should have said it only goes backwards you can put f&r in f its goes backwards put it in reverse does same thing yes solneoid clicks in both

that sounds like a controller issue however i,m not 100% certain at this point..........david may know more if he reads this........i,m guessing that its either a F&R problem or the controller.............................

imho...disconnect the wires to the f/r switch and test the switch function with a ohm meter.....if the reverse pin in the switch is fused closed the reverse function might default even though the switch is set to forward.....
( had one customer that had a tow/RUN switch fused that same way..even with low amp draw thru the switch.... secondly...pull all wires off the motor ( label first ) and check resistance from each terminal to the frame of the motor...there should be NO continuity ( no reading on the meter ) i would then look at a controller problem...but here's yous starting points |
