Hill brake locking when pressing brake
93 DS, took it out today and when I hit the brake it locks up like I'm pressing the Hill brake. I took a look under and it looks like maybe if I adjusted the gas pedal it might give me some slack? I'm not sure of my options
Help would be appreciated Thanks |

Re: Hill brake locking when pressing brake
Two things to check.
1. There’s a spring on the park lever, make sure it’s not broken. 2. The blocks that the brake pedal pivots on can wear and allows the brake pedal and park brake latch assembly to move toward the rear of the cart a bit. If the blocks are worn replace them. The gas pedal does have a rubber stop back at the end of the return spring and those can wear out and cause this but if either of the other two are an issue, fix those before adjusting the gas pedal. |
