Default Club Car Carry All II year??

We can't locate a id tag on a club car carry all II. Any ideas on how to identify it? It only has rear brakes.

The serial number should be below the dash plate where the key switch and everything is.

Could you upload a picture of the engine and transmission? If the tag was removed we can at least narrow down to a year range by the motor and transmission style

I'll get some pics. Someone has to have removed the tag. We can't find anything.

92 or earlier is easy to identify. They had the flathead kf82 motor.
93-96 had a FE motor like the newer ones but a different airbox than 97+ and different transmission due to counterclockwise rotating motor. 97 became the clockwise rotation motor, different style airbox and a unitized transmission.

You may be able to look on the rear side of the fan shroud for the emissions label on the engine. It wont be exact but can give you an idea of at least when the engine was built.

Isn't there another label on the frame near the rear CP?

I just went outside and looked. There is a label on the passenger side frame above the rear wheel. But, it just says Gas Carryall II Frame with a bar code.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but mine is a 2001 "Carryall II Plus."

It's hard to tell over the years.

Now that I think of it, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the Philips screw on either side of the dash bezel (where the key switch, gas gauge, etc is). On the brace on the right there may be a label with the serial number. I'm not sure when they started that but I know I've had it there on a few of my carts when the visible label was removed or damaged.
