1995 club cart engine help
hello to all im new on this forum and really don't know where to but this thread.So im working on a 1995 club car for my brother the original engine is a fe 290d-ds05 i was just wondering what would it take to put a fe 350d-bs27 engine instead and if its even possible thank you

Well... for starters, your 95 FE290 is a counterclockwise rotation,
You need to find out what rotation the FE350 is. If the FE350 is a counterclockwise rotation, then it'll be an easy swap, (less the exhaust... the FE290 exhaust is a completely different animal) If the FE350 has a clockwise rotation, you can still use it, (again... exhaust) But...the shifter will be in reverse when your going forward. (and vice-versa) just some of the things you can look forward to!  |
