I've never gotten to ride one myself but it being a Yamaha, I would think it would be a great cart.

This one got me going. I know Yamaha just came out with "The adventure"? Basicly a standard golf car with a box (in what I have seen of them/in my opinion/we have some at the shop just haven't looked at them that close). The umax came in several units. Some were factory lifted, some had 4 wheel drum brakes. As I recall (no spec sheets in front of me) they were standard 4 stroke engines, although they useually had "stronger" axles and differentials. The real hill climbing would be buying a gas unit and installing a "tourque spring/secondary kit" that gives better gearing to transfer the engine power thru the differencial to the ground. Many sponsors here sell them and would have no problems recommending them. Good luck on your future purchase. Dave

Nothing more to say then, if it is a Yamaha it is quality. If you have many hills I would agree with smallblock450sl, a gas cart would be the better choice. Stock there is about an eight HP difference between gas and electric.
