Spitting Gas And Fire From Carb
New carb, cleaned before install.
New coil. New pulsar, properly gapped. New plugs. New 93 octane. HEI module instead of ignitor. New ignition harness. Adjusted valves 14 times. Adjusted top screw on carb til I'm blue in the face. It will crank like it should. It will drive but loads up. Mid throttle in neutral it spits gas and backfires from carb. At full throttle in neutral is seems to run ok, but if you let off and then press throttle it loads up. It take a bit to get back to full throttle. Can carb float misadjustment cause this? Could the HEI have anything to do with problem? |
