Default Broken motor mount on 96 club car

Hello. I am wondering if you can please post pictures on how you replaced or made your own bracket that holds the the motor crate to the frame of the cart. It seems it was fixed somehow before I bought the cart but when i installed the lift kit and the motor tilted down it broke the weld they had on the aluminum.

Thanks

We just got an '02 gas CC and I noticed the engine mount is also broken free on it. Our's is broken at the welds. It should be an easy fix if you know a good welder that has a TIG. I thing I'm going to use two bolts with fender washers to spread the load and bolt it to the frame.

This is what I did to repair it. Seems like it'll hold up. Ended up using an old bushing from the shocks when I replaced them to give the motor a bit flexibility so its not a solid mount.

Even though it may not be a "solid mount", the snubber mount/engine cradle needs to "float" with the suspension,
I'll take a good guess that something else will eventually break if you keep it bolted down.

I might just get a bigger bushing put a nylon nut on it and not tighten up all the way to give it some play.
