93 Gas Question
Top of the morning! My first post to you folks.
I have recently aquired a gas Club Car, S/N EG9313323496. It's in a bit of a poor condition, but nothing I think outside my capabilities. Not being terribly familiar with this model, I note that it has a Kawasaki engine, but I've no idea what model, further, I am searching for an electrical schematic for the frame and the engine. It has a hydraulic dump bed and is in reasonably good condition frame-wise. Numerous electrical problems, no spark, and a stuck valve (which I've already remedied). Might there be someone with this information available? Please advise. Regards, Kevin |

Re: 93 Gas Question
Welcome.... Is it a carryall, then? Can you post a picture? If it is an OHV engine it is a fe290. I think that is what you have. The wiring diagram is the same as any gas DS CC of that year. Should be located in the stickies at the top of this section

Re: 93 Gas Question
Got it. I still only found a '92 & '96. I'll have considerably more info when I tear it down this weekend. I appreciate your help.

Re: 93 Gas Question
Here it is in all its grandeur! It'll take a bit to clean it up, but it's basically sound. Still having a problem with spark. The coil checks OK from a generic standpoint, but I need to verify what the readings should be. Currently I'm getting 8.015 KOhms and 1.4 ohms on primary & secondary circuits. Would you possibly have these values?
The electrical schematic for the '92 appears to be the same as this '93 for the most part, but I still haven't verified everything. The stuck valve was due to combustion by-products in the valve guide. A little reaming cured it. Kevin |
