Default Yamaha g29 48 volt Controller question

I have an 09 48v golf cart and I'm looking for suggestions for a new controller. I have a stock motor and just want a little more speed.

Alltrax is a good choice. Flexible and reliable.

I went for the 500 amp with fan but you are probably just fine with the 400 amp without the fan. I am in Arizona and I use the cart all summer when it's hot as hades. I believe that you can add the fan later if you decide you need it. I have not seen a fan on any of the stock controllers out there so it's probably overkill unless you are really pushing things. I have my current limited to 350 amps in the programming. A really nice feature of the Alltrax is that you can do all of the programming with a laptop. You can also log all of your parameters while driving with a laptop hooked up via USB to help dial in your settings.

IMO the stock solenoid is just fine unless your cart has way oversized wheels. I have had them last better than the "heavy duty" ones.
