1993 ezgo drive belt question

I have a 1993 ezgo gas 4 cycle with the 295 motor. The drive belt on it is 1-1/16 wide. the order catalog states that the belt for this year should be 1-13/16 wide.With the motor not running the driven pulley is not wide enough for the replacement belt to fit in the pulley. Is there a adjustment to this pulley or am I just missing some simple thing? It looks like the pulley from the motor will hold a 1-13/16 belt.

Could be a typo, I thought 4 cycle new belts are 1-3/16" and replace if under 1-1/16".
