Clutch Spring preset
Hey guys, i have a 1990 DS gaser. Its not going very well and im going to pull both clutches give them a clean and put them back in. my question is i assume there is a preset spring tension i need to achive when putting it back together, what is the spring tension needed? is it something like A1 or ??? thanks for your help

I'm not 100% sure about the driven clutch (rear clutch), but I've had my drive clutch (front clutch) apart and back together with no thought of spring pressure as an issue I should pay attention to. I just put it back together the same way I took it apart and it was fine.
I would imagine that the rear is the same deal. |

Much how i was thinking mark verything the way it comes apart and put it back together the same way.
