![]() Can someone please tell me what 4-blinks on this sevcon controller code indicates. My first thread had spin heads as well as mines. My guess if I can wiring down from the code and hope to take it from there.

![]() Hi There Roady89,
Thanx for your quit response, I'll go ahead and follow up with your advice. This is a little complex due to their massive upgrade, owners of this cart were told their solenoid was bad. I had sold them a new 48v, going according to his pix. I had look at the old it was a 24v......very complex project. |

![]() The 48V cart used a 24volt contactor. The voltage is clipped at the controller, so that we can utilize and stock only one contactor whether it's for 48.36 or 24 volt system.
FYI. The four flash could also just be a bad controller, with the defect actually inside the controller in that circuit. So if you KNOW the contactor is good, you have a bad controller. |

![]() You either have to replace the sevcon WITH a sevcon, or go back in time and install something like a curtis, which would require changing the wiring harness (or at least the multipin connector).

![]() Alot of repair places just 86 the sevcon system and put in a system they know. Spend a 1000 bucks for a controller or convert it for less.
