1994 Yamaha G9a-Ignition Switch wiring
When I matched my serial # the Yamaha site said it was a 1994
G9A which shows 2 wires going to the ignition switch. I actually have 4 wires. When I check the wiring diagram for a 1995 G14A it shows 4 wires matching the colors on my wires. Does this make any since? Does anyone know what the extra 2 wires are for? |

Re: 1994 Yamaha G9a-Ignition Switch wiring
Do you have lights or any other accessories hooked up to your G9? Mine is the same way, no lights or radio or anything, just a standard G9. You just need the brown and red wires, they go to the accelerator switch and the battery. The others are for accessories that might get hooked up. At least that's what I understand.
