New F&R switch

Going to switch out my F&R switch this weekend. Any tips?

What cart? What year?

Buy from a knowledgeable person who sends clear directions and offers tech support in English when needed.

Seriously I have HD F&R switches for ezgo and Club Car on the website... also the ever popular Ezgo Switch cam.

Tag all wires to be removed with #s on tape. Draw a diagram with an outline of the switch and show where all the #s connect..... do this for large and small wires.... especially the micro switches (some have 3) Getting the right wire back in the right place is VERY important.

Disconnect the battery main at one end first and reconnect it last. If the cart has a toggle F&R or a run tow switch make darn sure this switch is the very first and last thing you flip.

I believe 93 DS controller cart is an oddball F&R. It has 2 terminals poking out the passenger side of the cart?

yes make sure you start with the right switch and take your time do 1 wire at a time if you have to.......disconnect main power and than you can take wires and cables off 1 at a time put on new switch and when all are on new switch then mount it.........takes a few minutes longer but its worth it in the end................................

i hate to jump in but i have a 2003 cc ds iq with a rocker switch .do you have or can i get a heavy duty switch for my cart?
thanks for the meter update on shipping. i cant wait yo get it. one more thing and i will leave you alone. whats the best way to cut my dash for the meter to fit.

Slow and steady . . . not much room for error . . unless using a fascia of sorts to cover up "oooopsies" . . . a dremel and a steady hand is how I mounted mine in the same dash you have . . see post #7, this thread:

jigsaw and a file. dremel is tough work.

just as steve said slow and steady.......i also used a dremal tool to do several of them i used the smallest cutoff wheel i could get and it all worked out.....................................
