2000 ez go txt no power

Hey there everyone im new to the site an was wondering to gain some information if you could ........... i have a 2000 txt ez go that has no top end power it runs fine on flat ground but is slow on hills any suggestions will be appreicated again im new at this sorry if not enough detail !!!

it also has the robin 295 cc in it if that helps

check valve aadjustment. .004 is the spec.

2nd. make sure your clutches are working porperly. the driven (on rear end) belt needs to go all the way to the bottom and the drive clutch (eng clutch) need to go all the ay to the top.

also check belt for narrowing. these belts wear on the sides. if the belt gets too narrow, it will create issues.

do a general search of this site for a diy on valve adj and belt measurements.

also check and make sure all cables goin from pedal to gov to throttle move freely. they tend to get stuck as age and debris gets in the cables.
