G1 charging receptacle wiring need help
I don't remember how the charging receptacle was wired before, but the black wire has broken off and it seemed to have been wired to the left post. The red wire is wired to the right cut off. the cut off button has broken off incidentally, though its never been a issue with the way this thing was wired. Tried connecting the left cut off to the left charging post and the black wire and ZAP, sparked so that's a bad idea.
As far as replacing this thing, Do I really need a G1 receptacle with a cut off or will any old crows feet receptacle do? In the meantime, does anyone have any ideas where the black battery wire goes? Also, what about the left cut off wire? |
