Default Help Please

Hi All I am having a hell of a time working on a H-D De40 I put a new solenoid in, the one on the bottom. the car goes good in reverse but nothing forward. I even disconnected the two on the top one being reverse the other forward. I have continuity open and closed as should be when turning on and off. Although they show good still not working I have double checked the wiring more then twice. Oh and I have good batteries I'm working with. The prints that are on another site are not clear as to where control wiring goes but I'm not an amateur I used to work on 600V 3 Phase. this is simple set up I must be over looking something so I ordered the 4 pole solenoid. any help would be appreciated.Joe100

Hi! All I thought I'd bring you an up date after replacing a bad solenoid and changing all the wiring to4Ga. switched the F7R solenoid's and had the same problem of running in reverse with no forward after tracing wire's numerous times which were correct to the print that I had gotten on line. Prints were wrong for this particular H-D De40?????? I took pictures before I tore it down and have the motor leads wrong.: roll: Joe100 P.S. Speedway shocks are almost a direct replacement for the rear just change the bushings.
