Yamaha 48V Charger/Maintainer
New to electric cart. Got charger, no manual for charger. Charger is 48V Charger Multi Stage Battery Charger/Maintainer 3HRV. Owners manual for cart says "unplug after fully charged. It won't recharge until you unplug and plug it in again." But, word "maintainer" on charger leads me to believe I can keep charger plugged in and it will charge as necessary. Does anyone know for sure?

Re: Yamaha 48V Charger/Maintainer
What model is the charger. Google it and find a manual.

Look like this? It is supposed to do "maintainence mode". It is not trustworthy to do so.

Re: Yamaha 48V Charger/Maintainer
Mine sure doesn't. It shuts off when it's done charging and it won't recycle unless you unplug it from the cart.
