G14 Brake Return Spring Replacement
New to the forum. Have a '96 G14 with a shot brake return spring. I have a new one but can't get the bolt out to replace it. Not much room below the floor to get a good hammer on it. I guess I need to pull the whole brake unit to hammer it out? The bolt spins but is extremely tight. Any ideas or videos that show how to refurbish the brake pedal?

Re: G14 Brake Return Spring Replacement
Sounds like bolt is rusted in sleeve. Add lots of wd40, and a prybar/hammer tomorrow. The nut did come off, right?

Re: G14 Brake Return Spring Replacement
Yes the nut came off and the bolt spins, although it takes a lot of force to turn it.
