Need Help! Yamaha G29
I'm looking at upgrading to a 2010 48 volt Electric Yamaha G29 golf cart. I do not know much about Yamaha carts. What do I need to look at when buying one? Pros and cons for the cart. Any other advise would be great. Thanks.

Re: Need Help! Yamaha G29
Hunting? I assume bigger tires than stock. A Alltrax XCT controller will help with the torque the stock controller lacks for bigger tires, plus a speed boost, especially on inclines. I dont own a drive, but have built many (mostly for street), the stock controller has little torque for any use other than flat streets & golf, bigger wheels/tires makes it worse. And the factory "speed code" does zero to improve torque. They do up to 19mph from the factory, but torque is lacking for hunting use. The new AC yamaha is a different story, it has tons of torque, but still 19mph (as perscribed by ANSI standards for a "PTV" cart).
