Default Tomberlin speed

After reading old posts, seems many are disappointed with Toms performance.

My 2008 was a dog from the start. 10mph up hill. Max speed on a good day 24mph.

These things love high voltage.
Take out the 480lb of lead.
Put in a 44v and a 22v Chevy volt pack. (ebay or hybrid auto) Get 35mph easy.
Motor runs cool. 20mph uphill. Fun to drive.

May also work to switch to 5 X 12v sla batteries. My brother is going to try this with some 90ah sla's he acquired today.

I'll post later this summer if he gets it done.
