G1 Oil Pump Swap
I'm trying to change the oil pump on my 1981 G1. It seems like I have to pull the clutch off and the oil pump cover, gear etc. to get to the 2 screws that hold the pump on. Is there an easier way to do this without pulling the entire engine out? Got pretty far into it and realized I need a clutch puller.

Re: G1 Oil Pump Swap
Clutch has to come off. You can do it with the engine in the cart. You'll definitely need a clutch puller to get the clutch off though.

Re: G1 Oil Pump Swap
Once you take the gas tank out you'll have all kinds of room to work on the clutch and pump.
