Default G8 Run microswitch

Working on one of my neighbour's cart at the lake and the run micro has failed. Tried finding one and have been told it has been discontinued. Aftermarket I am seeing are like $75 and I don't think so. Is the fix to just convert it to using an Ezgo switch I already have or do I just jump it and forget about the switch..

Thoughts and suggestions ?

The "stop switch" at the pedal, or the micro switch on the f/r assembly?

If it is the pedal switch, it can often be arranged, search the topic in the forum, add the Yamaha gas in your search...
