Default EMP motor

I ordered my motor from EMP today. Hopefully all will go well with it. I was a little bummed out that I wont get it for two weeks but oh well. Now I have to download the Alltrax software and learn it since they will be sending me new parameters and field map.

Didn't have any luck searching for EMP anyone with experience with their products.

Ive lost count at over 300 of their motors that I have installed. I can exaggerate and say Ive have 20 warranty or issues with their motors.

How were they to deal with on the warranty issues?

Never had an issue. It was a phone call and told them it was coming back.

Well I received my motor today from EMP. Unfortunately I have not received a field map and controller settings. Does anyone happen to have a field map and settings that would work for the weekend. Motor is D&D 170-505-0001A with a 300amp alltrax. I assume if i try to run it the way it is setup now for the stock motor I would cook something?

Do not screw around with this. Get explicit mapping and setting instruction from Chuck before you even test the motor on jack stands. Bad stuff will happen and you will be responsible.

Thanks Scotty, Killing me I got the motor and no setup, going into a nice weekend. Plus they close early on Fridays.

I waited for an email, never got one. Dug through box looking for CD. Chuck responded and will get me something later tonight. Installed motor, have the tool downloaded and read instructions now to patiently waiting.
