Florida battery source
Good afternoon,
Looking to replace the batteries in 2013 club car, is there a best source for batteries in Florida, we're on east coast by Melbourne. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk |

Re: Florida battery source
If west palm isn't too far for you to drive I have bought from these guys. They do have a processing fee if you use a credit card but these were the best prices I could find on trojan or crown batteries in my area. They are a legitimate business you can walk in off the street but they also advertise on craigslist.

Re: Florida battery source
Call Battery Boys, or Battery Brothers- 2 unrelated companies, but if you just want batteries and you install, they will be your best bet

Re: Florida battery source
There are numerous opinions on here about battery type. I have always stuck to trojan or crown for long term reliability. I bought cart before with Deca batteries and didn't get the same life out of them assuming they were bought when the seller told me they were. I just got 5.5 years out of a set of trojans and it would still go 18 holes.
Not sure why link isn't working I click it and it works fine. If you are interested in the place in west palm just go to craigslist and under south Florida craigslist type in Cart connection and it should come up. They are in West Palm Beach. Here is the prices for comparison. New: Crown 6v $119 Crown 8v $129 Crown 12v $199 150AH Interstate 6V $119 Interstate 8V $129 Trojan T-105 6V $139 Trojan T-605 6V $129 Trojan T-875 8V $139 Trojan 30XHS 12V $215 |

From what I gather it looks like the Deka Duracell from Sam's Club may suit our purposes ok, and is convenient purchase. We basically are two small children and two adults that use cart to ride maybe 3 miles each way to the beach here in Florida. I'd be ok with deka lasting 4-5 years which others have said they will? If trojan battery dealer were closer to me I would go that route but driving 100 miles each way to west palm for batteries loses half day, along with added battery price. I haven't bought anything yet so perhaps I'll call local golf club and try to ask how they get batteries. Thank you, Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk |
