well I like the throttle set up, so it looks like you put some of the stock hardware back on ? does that keep tension or something

bh, The piece you recognize actually reverses the pull Direction of the new lever I put at the end of the peddle linkage ......

I got back to this project and the motor is running better now (breakin-in?)
I installed a tiny tach I had on the shelf ... Motor revs up pretty good with out the gov. gotta be careful With stock tires I GPSed the cart at 25mph on the dirt road... Plenty fast for an old cart. I recovered the seats and painted the cowl..... replaced the rear suspension bushings yesterday...I also spent some time setting up a choke. I used a cable from a TXT. had to extend the lever that came on the carb and make a bracket for the cable. These engines like a little choke everytime they start.....might be the lean jets for the Calif. emission standards? SO, it is trying to come together |
