Default front wheels squeek

I have a 2003 parcar i've been enjoying but the front wheels seem to have a squeak. i thought maybe it was the bearings but i'm not sure. i took the wheel off, and there is like a plate between the wheel and the disk? looked around, put the wheel back on and squeak is a little better. also i have squealing when i brake. any ideas on what to check? its front disk brakes.

If you squeak when braking then you probably need your brakes relined. You may want to get brake cleaner and clean those suckers real good first.

With regard to your other squeaking, a lot of times that will come from the front leafs rubbing together but, by the life of me, I can't recall if those era Par Cars even used a front leaf set up. If it does have leaves, try to get some lube in between them while your driving around.

I had a front wheel squeak that went away after tightening up the lug nuts.
