Question 2019 drive 2 PTV tire question

i recently purchased a 2019 EFI drive 2. It came with 205/65/10 tires (20.5 inches). i wanted to buy aftermarket 12 wheels and tires.. place 215/50/12 (20.5 inches) on them. same 3/4 spacing
some saying they may rub. Why? both 20.5 inches.. is it because cart is so new and being safe.
what size after tires are people running on this cart..

thanks in advance

Thanks for the input, but there are so many different rim back-spacings, it's hard to answer the many questions of "will this wheel/tire fit" when no one ever specifies what the rim parameters are. It's not just "tire size" that determines if it will work well. And when we (the a-hole dealers, I know, we are somehow the scum of the earth) get our rims/tires, they don't tell us either. And getting any info from them after the sale is like asking them what's in Area 51 (they will have to get back to us on that, still waiting). I guess I should make a simple easy measuring tool to see, and start measuring the wheels we typically use.
