Default Windshield needed for 2007 Western

My husband inherited a Western golf cart. From what I read in another thread, based on the serial number it is a 2007 model 300. Any idea where we can get a new windshield? Anytime I try to Google it I only get EZ Go dealers.

You're getting ezgo dealers because the cart is built on an ezgo frame and drive system. Western carts usually have the windshields with the side wings for wind deflection. Hard to find these anymore sometimes you have to measure and find a windshield that is close and custom cut it. Western body parts like windshields, head and tail light lenses, etc. are impossible to find unless you can find a parts cart. Your best bet is to call dealers in the Palm Springs/ Rancho Mirage, CA area and see if they have any NOS left.

That’s a tough find. You won’t find a new one, maybe get one from a junker on Craigslist if you can find it.

I had a customer bring me theirs and it needed a new windshield so I used a new Club Car DS windshield and cut it to fit. You have to drill holes in it to mount with the factory Western screws but it worked great.

I may have a wiring diagram for the 400. I will check for you tomorrow. five 5 volts and one 8 volt is certainly not right. These westerns were either 42 volt or 48 volt systems. Since everything is ruined this may be your chance to upgrade all your cables and electronics and have a totally new electrical system.

I am attaching an owners manual for all westerns. The wiring diagrams are on the last few pages separated by model. I hope this helps.
