Default Precedent brake light pad install question

So I have a 2015 Club Car Precedent.

I have a headlight kit, turn signal kit on my cart right now, and all work when the key is off.

I have purchased this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

so I can have brake lights.

I have opened the floor board and plugged the 2 bullet connectors together.

However, whether the key is on or off the brake lights do not come on.

my tail lights are LED.

Any help on the install would be grateful!

under the floor board, there was a female end to the bullet connectors.

However, it did not seem to do anything.

Strange. If turn signals and hazard flashers are working, then your pedal pad switch should activate the brake lights.

The pad is an on/off switch, just like the pull switch in that kit. It will work, but what you DIDN'T get, and what may be missing, is the timer. The kit he posted includes the brake switch timer. It's purpose is to turn the brake lights out after a minute or so with the park brake locked. But the brake lights won't work without it, and in your case it may be missing. If whoever installed the light kit didn't see fit to install a switch, they may not have installed a timer either. You could run a jumper wire where the timer is SUPPOSED to be, and the brake lights should work.

You can use it if you wire one side of the switch to 12v and the out side to the brake light wiring..White is the driver side brake and yellow is the passenger side...

Much depends on the turn signal switch. The brake lights have to run through the turn signal switch and that switch must be able to tell that brake signal from the turn signal. The brake lights and turn signals use the same element in the tail lights and the turn signal switch must be able to separate them.

In the floor where you plugged the bullet connectors for the pedal pad, was there also two unused spade connectors coming from the light harness where maybe the timer would have plugged to ? If there are, connect those two together and see if you then have brake lights. You won't need the timer with a pedal pad.
