Which finally leads me to my QUESTION! ! ! ! The all sport lift kit instructions show a battery club car, and mine is gas... The way I am figuring this, I need to replace the factory shocks as they need to be much longer?!? Is that right?? Maybe the pic will help?!? The factory locations are at the aluminium frame and the lower tubular motor frame, but by adding the new leaf springs and riser blocks, it lenghtens the bolt-in locations for the shock... So, if i'm right, what do I need, or am I assembling it wrong??

Where did you buy the kit? That rear set up is for late model '97 up. You should have got the pre'97 gas kit. No big deal. Longer shocks look better and are cheap. NAPA # 94013. Any Auto parts can cross that #. You need to flip the shock mount plates 180 degrees. The 5/8 ' hole needs to be on the back side of the axle on the inside of the spring. Looks like you'll have a slick ride when you're done...

Thanks for the reply, so the model number you gave me for the shock will attach to the new plate and the frame, not the original mounting location on the lower frame assembly? SOOOooo trying to figure this out!?! I ordered it from everythingcarts, but its my error because I did not give them my serial number !

Not to be a pain, that part number you gave me is good to use on my cart with this lift kit right? I can then eliminate the plate that came with the lift kit and just use the original mounting locations? I like the blue color of the shock, as I am planing on painting it a dark blue anyways!

You can't eliminate the plate. You can trim it if needed. If you leave the plates the way they are in the pic, you shouldn't have to trim them.

She worked with me for HOURS that day, without stopping. Anyone with a 9 year old girl will tell you their attention span is never that good! She is so into this cart and wants to get back on it ASAP! New wheels are shipping today, its all coming together!
