What i understand is it kills the engine when you let off the gas .or when you want to put it in reverse.

I bought this cc not run. I found the large white wire go to the starter all melted, I replaced the wire and the yellow too. When you push the pedal to crank it it does nothing. The previos owner said he replaced the solenoid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
