Re: Gas Club Car Light Install
Considering you have a gas cart with an alternator/starter you should not have a battery problem running lights.

Re: Gas Club Car Light Install
No i haven't done anything like this before. This is our first cart and I know we are doing it cheap, for now, but we want to do it properly until we get the money for the club cart lights.
All the input i can get is so appreciative. |

Re: Gas Club Car Light Install
LED works great for tail lights plus they don't drain the Battery (even if left on for a weekend).

Re: Gas Club Car Light Install
i used cheap fog lights the first time i put lights on mine i put a switch on the dash and powered them through the circuit so they would only come on when i pushed on the gas pedal that way they couldn't get left on by accident they worked good for several years......its really easy if you just follow the directions that come with the lights and if you get confused ask on here and these kind folk will help......welcome to the coolest site ever....

Re: Gas Club Car Light Install
Hey guys thanks for the help. I installed the lights this past weekend. My cousin told me that the relay wasn't needed for the hook up. Is he right? Is it necessary to put on the cart?
Thanks Again |

Re: Gas Club Car Light Install
The relay can be bypassed as long as the switch is rated for the circuit amperage. Otherwise, the switch will overheat from the current load. A relay isolates the switch from this load.
