Battery ?'s
I have a 04 G22E, it has 6 US red top 8v batteries. I have found out that I have 2 batteries that may be going bad.
? #1 is , according to Yamaha's site, the owners manual shows 4 Trojan 12v batteries in a factory set up. Is there any advantage in going back to the factory set up with 4 (12v) batteries or stay with 6 (8v) batteries? ? #2 , I have a source for Interstate batteries and can get them @ jobber pricing , would Interstate be a worthy battery to buy ( if so which model) or do I need to suck it up and get US batteries ( red top or blue top) ? My wife drives this cart everyday to her work, aprox 2 miles round trip, as well as scooting around on her lunch hour. Regards, Vic |

Re: Battery ?'s
From everything that I have read the 6-8v batteries will give you a lot more drive time vs 4-12v batteries. I would recommend sticking with the setup that you currently have and doing a load test on all of your batteries.
