Default Fixing my front fender

Hi all I have loooked around and have not seen a thread on how to do body repair on my 85 Club car. It has what looks like a plastic/fiberglass body and has a 2 inch crack(all the way thru) on the front fender corner. Is there a cheap way to fix this w/o buying new before I have it painted? It will go back together and stay that way till I hit a bump or two so it doesnt stay apart like it shows in the pic. Thanks so much.

I used Bondo on my front cowl. Just remember to put it on both sides of the crack.

I would use fiberglass as well. I would also stop drill the crack. At the end of the crack, drill about a 3/8" diameter hole and cover it with filler. That should stop the crack from running.

The old cowls are pretty insubstantial anyway. I think you would be better off getting a new one.

If you don't want to spend the money on that, then I agree with the fiberglass and filler.

I think not. Nothing is going to hold like the fiberglass.
