Getting More Speed - RPM Limits
I have a question I would like to get more speed out of my 93 club car. Right now if I put it in service mode and put the accelerator to the floor it hits the RPM limit with the last couple mm of travel and starts cutting in and out. Would it be safe to disconnect the RPM limiter if I don't do any other adjustments. Seems like as long as I have the RPM limiter hooked up I am maxed out but if I unhook it I can get that little extra RPMs. Any thoughts or advice. I tie strapped the spring an it just causes it to shutdown at less pedal travel so I removed.

Re: Getting More Speed - RPM Limits
id say find a tiny tach and hook it up. i have researched it but havent bought one yet. i have found out that 4000 rpm is the very limit on these engines. so set everything around prob 3500 rpm...
