2000 G19e Ligting Issues- Blinkers
Hello,
Lately I have noticed a issue with my right (passenger) side turn signals. SYMPTOM If I have my headlights "off", both right and left blinkers seem to work great. If I turn my headlights on, the left side still work great but the right side don't blink at all and the brake lights seem slower to light up. It has worked fine in the past but just started noticing this over the past few months. I have checked all the wiring and seems to be ok. Thinking about getting the volt meter out and comparing the readings at the socket when going side to side. I don't have a reducer but thinking about getting one since my headlights will dim sometimes when I put it to the floor. Thanks in advance for any help. housej55 |

Grab the cupholder up front, if u have the stock dash, and yank up real hard and it will pop off and the flasher is in there. Look one up online to see what it looks like if you haven't already, should be a little silver metal or clear plastic part about the size of a carmex lip balm container. Pop it out and put the new one in. If u don't have a stock dashquit you should be able to get to it underneath the nose of the cart. Let me know if this fixes the problem.

Re: 2000 G19e Ligting Issues- Blinkers
Thanks EdDog, I did find it and replaced it. From that point for a little while it seemed it was working fine again with the right side blinker. Then it stopped,. I hooked up another rear tail light and it started back up again so my blinking issues are over. I just now have to see why I lost my break light :o The Tail Lights come on when I turn on the light system, but the don't get brighter when I press on the pedal, maybe that switch is bad or got unplugged somehow.
Thanks for your help ! |

Re: 2000 G19e Ligting Issues- Blinkers
No problem... about ur brake lights, if you pop the plastic hold down pin out in the driver side floor mat and roll that mat over towards the passenger side you will see a little panel that covers your pedal adjustments. Open that up and you will see the brake linkage, notice the electric wires running to a pull switch which is connect to the brake pedal assembly by a small spring. When u press the brake pedal it pulls the spring which in turn pull the arm on the switch out. Get a 17mm wrench and adjust the two bolts on either side of the switch, forward loosens the tension backwards tightens it. This will be how you can fix that problem, hope that helps.
