And carts run better when you have gas in them haha..any help would be much appreciated

the click i think is the relay not working I would recheck and retighten all the wire connections and tie in points, it might possible be a bad new relay.try swapping the relays around to see if it is the relay. swapping around i mean relocating physically the location not just the wiring the wiring. that the only thing I can come up with.

When i did my conversion I n had a small problem with a small black wire that came from the cdi area i did not know where it was to be connected to after looking over the wiring diagrams i found that it should be placed on the termail from the battery " the jumper in the center front of relay. this may cause problems with the cdi controller. This goes back to my thinking that the frame should have a good ground to the battery #2 CU. stops all this non grounded problems .

My big thing in life is good grounds to every thing . things work correctly and people due not get heart or killed.!!!!

Wormy000, did you replace both of them with the new style or just one? My forward solenoid went out and I have a new one but I'm unsure how to (or if I even can) tie it in the othe one so I would be running one old and one new. I'm the farthest thig from a professional when it comes to wiring so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can I run a jumper on one aftermarket soloniod for forward but still maintain the original solonoid for reverse without a jumper or do I need too just buy a second aftermarket solonoid?
All pics show two aftermarket solonoids you can't mix them can you?

If they are both (new & old) round canister style solenoids, the new one needs turned around to face the opposite direction. Or at least that's been my experience.
