low mileage on a tomberlin Emerge...
New batteries in my tomberlin Emerge, should get 30Plus miles per charge. went about 6-7 miles and indicator is already down halfway. check the battery voltage when charged and they are reading 8 volts. Anyone else ever have a mileage problem with the tomberlin's? Could it just be the indicator is reading wrong?

Don't look at you indicator, its wrong, I go 3 miles and its 1/2 way down. I don't know why they even put it on the cart. The best way is check your battery voltage and see where it is. I have a Battey Minder on my cart and I just love it. I leave it on when my cart isn't in use.

Can you tell me what the Battery Minder is and how it works? Assume this is the charger you are talking about?
I have the same issue with my cart and am getting ready to replace the batteries for the 2nd time in 3 years as it seems they get "worn out". I suspect over charging is an issue. |
