yamaha golf cart
I am in the processes of buying new 6 volt batteries for my Yamaha G2. Do you think i can convert it to 8 volt batteries.

There are a few things you may want to consider about doing that...for instance how will you charge the cart with 8 volts?

Re: yamaha golf cart
That would be a NO. A 36V charger is not going to properly charge a 48V battery pack.

Re: yamaha golf cart
I would not do this to my wife's G-2 as it would let all the magic smoke out of all the resistor workings and she would have a fit!! G-2 is a 36 volt cart around here.
