1996 g16 controller question
Neibor is looking at a cart, g16 48v. owner says it run 10 min and dies and thinks its a controller. Any thoughts. Is that how a controller acts when its done. Also if it is a controller is there a cheap replacement, even if he needs to do some alterations with fitting it or wiring it. Thanks

Re: 1996 g16 controller question
first problem is G-16e is 36volt, G-19e is 48volt, better be sure what you're dealing with. The throttle, series style controller, F&R, and motor are NOT interchangeable between the 36v G-16 and the 48v G-19. Second problem, Yep sounds like controller. Alltrax AXE (ask for the 0-1k throttle version) controller will work dandy in there. i have taken the old controller out, cut the small wires off at the controller, then , used those wires to make an "a-dapter kit" for plug and play fit.
