Yamaha 1990 g8ef
Just bought 2 G8E projects, may use one for parts. My question is since I have no batteries at present should I convert my 36v carts to 48v and if I do will I have to upgrade controller and solenoid both of which are stock.

Re: Yamaha 1990 g8ef
Not only would you have to change the controller and the solenoid to 48 volts but also a 48 volt charger and more than likely a HD F/R switch. So with new batteries, solenoid, charger, and F/R switch you are looking at a ton of money. But if money is no issue go for it.

Re: Yamaha 1990 g8ef
Thanks for the response. I probably will keep it at 36v.
