I went with the GMT padded factory style dash . Still undecided on speaker locations .... Not real crazy about cutting in the body . - Mayor

older alpine deck, memphis car audio speakers 5.25".
the speaker mounts are PVC pipe caps..
I wanted to go with the molded piece for my marathon, but then a job loss
made me go a different direction.

Cool! How about some "BOSE" mini box speakers?, you could mount them off the drain tube screws (yes I'm partial to BOSE) and a "thumper" mounted some where? Oh how my mind wanders

The best place for speakers on your cart is the seat back. It's perfect because you already have the cap piece. It will fit 2 6.5in speakers. Just cut out the holes one the cap and mount them to it. It acts as it's own speaker box. I do it all the time and it makes the best sounding music of any standard golf cart radio set up.

Front. When you put that cap on it leaves a void between the cap and the plastic of the seat back

Hammertime.......did you ever get your Froghead console in? I'm excited to see the look along with your GMT padded dash.
