Default Yamaha G8E

OK guys I screwed up. I installed a new forward and reverse switch on my G8 and it worked except forward was reverse and reverse was forward. I tried switching A1 and A2 on the motor but somehow had A2 on the wrong post. When I tried it I heard a pop and now when I switched the cables back all I hear is the solinoid clicking but no movement. What did I screw up?

Yeah but again my friend Don Plowman has come to the rescue. Not going to go into detail but I can't tell you how fortunate I feel to have Plowmans Carts 15 minutes away. To tell you the truth if not for him I would probably have started selling the cart for parts.

Any of you Yamaha guys and gals both gas and electric can not only get the best parts from Plowmans but without a doubt the best service and expertise.

LOL CG no deep dark secrets. The factory controller come to find out was one of the weak spots on G8's but yet to replace it the price for a new one is over 2000.00 bucks. Don is hooking me up with an Alltrax 300 amp box at a very good price.

Sweet, you will like the alltrax. If you have any trouble getting the throttle to work, let me know, i have done them before.

Thats another sweet thing about Don and his shop. He is going to install and program the box himself.

CG would the 4834 be concidered a direct replacement for the stock controller? I am not interested in more speed and the cart is just used in out campground. I will talk to Don Plowman about this Monday but the 400amp 4844 is a lot more money and I fear having to change solinoids and cables and maybe even FnR switches which will just put me way over what I can afford.
